Best Rate is a subscription plan that gives you the lowest yen-to-USD exchange rate available on Sakurabids. While you're subscribed, every order from Yahoo Japan, Mercari, Rakuten, and other Japanese marketplaces is converted at our discounted member rate instead of the standard daily public rate.
Every time you buy something priced in yen, that yen is converted to USD before charging you. Normal customers pay the standard market rate, but Best Rate members pay roughly 6–7% less per yen exchanged. The more you spend during your subscription, the more you save.
It's built for resellers, business owners, import agents, and frequent buyers who source from Japan regularly. As a rule of thumb, if you spend more than around $300 per month on Japanese goods, Best Rate almost always saves you more than the package itself costs.
